First as Last?

As I continue to go along in my life, I'm hitting a recurring thing, what does it mean to be a leader? Does it mean that you have to be the director of huge productions? Does it mean you have to be the coolest guy out there? Jesus said to be first, we have to be last, but what does that actually mean? I think it means that we have to begin to serve the people we lead. Clayton King has said that most people remember people who have served them. It makes sense too. When someone serves us, we tend to look up to them or thank them for their service, and in turn leads us to want to do the same in return or be able to bless someone else through that. That's the whole point of leadership, to live your life in a way worth imitating.
